Growing up in my hometown of Espoo, Finland, nature was always close. Nature and especially the sea have played a bit role in my upbringing and have shaped my journey greatly. Spending time in the archipelago taught me about the authority nature has over you, but also how beautiful things can be and I feel like photography is really a connection between imagination and reality. My photography journey started there and I feel like it will eventually finish there but while i’m on the journey, let’s make the most of it. I love and have explored a wide range of imaging styles and love to experiment with my work. I have gotten used to working on a tight schedule and producing consistent results under pressure, especially during my time in the Finnish Armed Forces where I spent 9 months as a photographer for the navy. Nowadays I study Design at Aalto University but photography remains a huge passion of mine.
